The use of artificial light in malls is much longer than the night shift itself. In fact if a shop is not directly facing outdoors or does not have skylights, it should utilize artificial lighting for the duration of its operating hours.
To optimize the energy expenditure a new system is implemented, which combines three types of LED lights: some fixed spots in the customer care area, moving lights on the top of every hallway to target specific products, and one that replicates the format of the fluorescent tube. The latter is the most recurrent as it follows all the paths that a customer takes walking among the store shelves.
To give more prominence to the new lightning system, positions gained independence from vents as the celling was painted black.
The line of furniture from the latest stores was kept and a wide and transparent façade was chosen to strategically expose the interior of the shop to the view of passers- by in the mall.
